Founder & Principal Designer

Maria Dominguez’s journey into the world of design began with a deep love for beauty and harmony, inspired by her architect mother and her own artistic soul. Originally from Colombia, she moved to the United States to pursue her passion with purpose—earning a Bachelor of Arts and training alongside some of Atlanta’s most celebrated designers.

As the founder and principal designer of Maison Maluee, Maria has built a practice rooted in storytelling, emotion, and authenticity. For her, design is more than aesthetics—it’s about crafting environments that feel alive with personal meaning and intention.

Each project is a unique reflection of her client’s essence, blending refined creativity with functionality to create spaces that are both visually stunning and deeply soulful. Through her work, Maria doesn’t just build homes or businesses—she creates immersive worlds where memories are made and dreams are lived.

Felipe Cerpa 
Commercial Senior Designer

Felipe Cerpa is a seasoned interior designer with over a decade of experience transforming residential and commercial spaces into functional, captivating environments. Originally on a different career path, Felipe eventually followed his true passion for design, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design—a bold shift that allowed him to merge creativity with functionality and develop a unique design perspective.

Born and raised in Colombia, Felipe's early exposure to architecture laid the foundation for his appreciation of structure, balance, and form. His designs are also deeply influenced by extensive global travels, which continue to shape his creative lens.

Felipe began his career in residential interiors, mastering the art of creating personalized and meaningful spaces. As his work evolved, he transitioned into commercial design, where his expertise in space planning, material selection, and sustainable solutions brings both beauty and purpose to larger-scale projects.

As the Commercial Senior Designer at Maison Maluee, Felipe plays a key role in bringing each client's vision to life. He collaborates closely with the team to ensure thoughtful execution, always aiming to craft environments that inspire, elevate, and enhance the way people live and work.

Juan Velasquez 
Architectural Designer & Visualization Specialist

Juan Velasquez is a Colombian-born architect who earned his degree from the Catholic University in 2016. From the outset of his career, Juan has been deeply passionate about architectural visualization—a discipline he considers fundamental to transforming ideas into compelling, communicative visuals.

His work bridges the gap between concept and reality, using visualization as a tool to reveal both the aesthetic beauty and functional intent behind every design. With a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of spatial context, Juan creates presentations that bring projects to life with clarity and emotional resonance.

Driven by a belief that architecture should inspire and enhance everyday living, Juan is committed to designing environments that are not only visually impactful but also meaningful for the people who inhabit them.

Paula Arango 
Project Architect & Operations Manager

Paula Arango is a project architect with four years of professional experience and a passion for transforming ideas into tangible, inspiring spaces. For the past two years, she has been an integral part of the Maison Maluee team, where she specializes in translating clients’ visions into detailed plans and high-quality renders.

Her work bridges imagination and reality—allowing clients to clearly visualize the design process and confidently engage with the creative journey. With experience across a wide range of residential and commercial projects, Paula approaches each design with a thoughtful balance of creativity and practicality, ensuring every space is both beautiful and purposeful.
